About Us

Our Commitment To Our Community

Our Mission

The mission of Gemini Theater Company is to cultivate creativity, imagination and originality through the performing arts.

Our Vision

Our vision is to see that all of our programs promote creativity, imagination and originality, and have a positive effect on the individuals who participate. Reduced funding for arts programs in our schools makes it more and more difficult for children to engage in activities that develop their creativity and imagination at an early age.  Gemini Children’s Theater fills this need by providing programming, discounted tickets to performances and events, scholarships for acting classes and summer camps and reduced educational outreach performances for elementary and pre-K children in our local community.

Gemini Children’s Theater conducts interactive, musical performances for children and their families, acting classes, summer camps, outreach performances to daycare, pre-schools as well as elementary schools in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.

The Gemini Theater is a nonprofit organization which was established in 1996 by Lani Cataldi and Dennis Palko as an interactive, musical children’s theater company. Gemini Theater Company has grown over the past twenty plus years, developing numerous programs and activities for children and adults, reaching over 100,000 through its programming.

Our History

Gemini Theater Company was established in 1996 as an interactive children’s theater, and recognized as a non-profit organization on February 3, 1997.
